2nd Annual Party in the Pasture
On October 22nd, the Buckhead Heritage Society held its second annual fundraiser, “Party in the Pasture,” which celebrated the rural roots of the Buckhead community. Blain Allen, the wife of Buckhead Heritage Board Member Ivan Allen IV, served as the chairperson for this event.
Over 425 people gathered to support Buckhead Heritage and enjoy some old-fashioned fun—barbeque, bluegrass, and history-themed activities and exhibits, including a woodworker, blacksmiths, and beekeepers. Kids enjoyed a giant Pirate Ship bouncy castle along with hayrides, face painting, pumpkin decorating, scarecrow making, and a storyteller!
