Hardy Pace Biography

Hardy Pace was born in Anson County, North Carolina, in 1785, and was an important early settler in the Buckhead and Vinings neighborhoods of North Atlanta. He died in 1864 in Milledgeville Georgia near the end of the Civil War. Many offspring remain in the area, and several local roads and businesses carry the Pace name today.

Hardy Pace talks about his life and local areas of Buckhead and Vinings. This script was provided by the Buckhead Historians, a history group started by the Buckhead Heritage Society.
