Hardy Pace Biography
Hardy Pace was born in Anson County, North Carolina, in 1785, and was an important early settler in the Buckhead and Vinings neighborhoods of North Atlanta. He died in 1864 in Milledgeville Georgia near the end of the Civil War. Many offspring remain in the area, and several local roads and businesses carry the Pace name today.
